The reviews below are primarily "little" movies that sometimes received decent public acceptance, but more often were entirely overlooked. Some of these movies are available at your local video store and some will require a bit of hunting online, but every one of them is a favorite of mine and every one is worth tracking down.
Many of these movies are subtitled but you should never let that keep you from renting it. You'll discover that movies with subtitles are usually easy to follow IF you pay attention.

This is my favorite movie. It's a very quirky look at how people see what they expect to see. It also features the weirdest sex scene ever put into a theatrically released film. If that scene doesn't leave you laughing, you have no sense of humor. Make sure you stay for the credits since they feature out-takes that are hysterical. I've watched this movie at least a half dozen times and I still haven't entirely figured out the ending. If any of you think you have, email me and we'll talk about it.
